I've finished up getting my associates in hospitality management in my local community college in long island, new york. I have a 3.71 GPA, took honors classes, got 4 certificates in hospitality management and a certificate in microsoft office. There's only 2 new york state university that offer hospitality management, and I refuse to go there because they're program isn't the best. I work at Sports Venue here in New York City, will not mention what team but its one of the MLB teams. I'm a supervisor there and I want to continue to work in the Sports Arena/Venue Management Field. I don't come from a family of college prestige, my parents never went to college. I will have to get a loan but I'm not looking to pay for college the rest of my life. So I need your help and advice. My Goal: To find a 4-year college that offers a Hospitality Management Program in the concentration of Events/Institution/Operations Management in school ranked top 10 in Hospitality Programs in the nation. Maybe go for a Masters as well. I'm looking at(in no order): University of Central Florida $ Penn State University Park $$ Oklahoma State University $$ Purdue University $$$ Florida International University $ New York University $$$$ Cornell University $$$$ University of Delaware $$ any other suggestions? any other major possibilities?...
